KVI rolls out third governor’s ad

The Democratic-leaning Kansas Values Institute on Friday rolled out it's third ad of the Kansas governor's race, again attacking Republican challenger Derek Schmidt for his association with former Gov. Sam Brownback.

The ad, which is only scheduled for Friday so far, is running in the Wichita and Hutchinson television markets.

The ad follows two others emphasizing the anti-Brownback theme as it tries to define the attorney general ahead of the this fall's election.

KVI has spent or booked about $5.8 million on broadcast spending for the governor's race, according to the ad tracking . . .
