Kansas is among 11 states that rebounded from population losses in 2022 to gain more people this year as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
While Kansas saw some population growth this year, it's still not at the same pace as during the last decade when the state's population grew by 3% - and even then it was the lowest since the Great Depression.
