Good morning:

Happy Mother's Day to everyone. A very slow week punctuated by a couple vetoes issued by Gov. Laura Kelly on Friday afternoon, once again forcing us to change around our happy hour plans. Vetoes on a Monday would fit in much nicer with our social life here at SSJ. Nevertheless, we don't expect our passive-aggressive lobbying attempt to have any effect. That said, all the convo this week has been focused on taxes and when the special session might be held. The speculation covers anytime this month to sometime during the first 10 days in . . .
