The Trump administration on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against the Kansas City, Kansas School District, accusing school officials of violating federal law by allegedly hiding students' transgender status from their parents.
The U.S. Justice Department filed what it described as a "first-of-its-kind lawsuit" against Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools to stop the district from "facilitating secret 'gender transitions' for children at school without their parents’ knowledge or consent."
