Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is set to become the first presidential candidate to visit Kansas with a trip scheduled for Wichita early next month.
Political consultant DiAnne Owen Graham set emails to Republicans on Friday announcing DeSantis' trip to Wichita on Aug. 7 and Kansas City on Aug. 8.
The invitation didn't list the location of the events.
The Kansas City event will have a noon VIP reception followed by a general luncheon at 12:30. The Wichita event will follow . . .
