Republican communications staffer and former wire service reporter John Milburn is changing jobs but not buildings.
Milburn is leaving Attorney General Kris Kobach's office for the secretary of state's office, which are housed in the same building albeit mostly on different floors.
The attorney general's office said that Milburn's appointment in that office ended last week. A spokesperson declined to comment further.
Milburn is now going to work as the special assistant for communications and policy in the secretary of state's publications division.
