An advocate for Kansas seniors has filed to run as a Democrat against Republican state Rep. Robyn Essex of Olathe in House District 78.
Dan Goodman, executive director of Kansas Advocates for Better Care, is running to promote a more "moderate" voice in the Legislature.
"I recognize the challenges facing schools, working families, and older Kansans, and I am dedicated to collaborating with our community and elected officials to find effective solutions,” Goodman said in announcing his candidacy.
