A bill that would have banned remote ballot boxes hit a roadblock Tuesday when it became mired in a House committee with no apparent hope of making it to the floor.
The House elections committee removed the contents of the bill with the ballot box ban and replaced it with language of a new ethics bill that moved to the full House.
