The Kansas House approved a bill that would require physicians to care for an infant born alive after a failed abortion over objections from opponents who say it misrepresents how abortion works.

The House approved the bill - the Born Alive Infants Protection Act - 88-34 by an even bigger margin than the preliminary vote the day before.

The bill passed with four more votes than the 84 needed to override . . .
