Republican state Rep. Randy Garber, a 14-year veteran of the Legislature from Sabetha, said Tuesday morning that he will not see reelection to the Kansas House this year.
While Garber had filed to run again for the 62nd District seat, he said in a text message that he would not seek an eighth term in the House.
"I have tried my best to do what I thought the majority of my constituents would want me to do. Representing the Kansas 62nd District has been an honor," Garber said.
