Senate President Susan Wagle on Wednesday morning braced her caucus for a rough end of the legislative session as lawmakers wrestle with how to answer a Kansas Supreme Court order requiring more money for schools.
“This is going to be a very difficult end of session,” she said.
Wagle, a Wichita Republican, started her meeting with fellow Republicans talking about decorum and rules after frustrations flared Tuesday when one legislator tried to amend a bill as another senator was giving her closing remarks.
