Republican state Rep. Ken Rahjes said Tuesday morning that he plans to seek the nomination for the House seat he planned to originally vacate after running for statewide office this year.
Rahjes, who now represents the 110th District in northwest Kansas, plans to seek support from precinct committee leaders after the GOP winner of the Aug. 4 primary withdrew on Monday for health reasons.
