The Kansas Senate on Thursday approved a bill aimed at reducing interference with immigration enforcement, partly by setting up a buffer zone that would keep protesters at least 25 feet away from first-responders carrying out their duties.
"President Trump is keeping our streets safe from criminal illegals," Senate President Ty Masterson said after the vote Thursday night.
The bill, he said, "will protect federal law enforcement officers in Kansas from radical left-wing obstructionists."
