A Johnson County judge on Monday cleared a path that makes it easier for abortion providers to challenge a new Kansas law that started Monday requiring clinics to ask women about why they are seeking an abortion.
Johnson Count District Judge Christopher Jayaram allowed the clinics to roll their state constitutional challenge to the new reporting law into an ongoing lawsuit against the Women’s Right to Know law, which puts in place various restrictions on abortion.
