Top Republicans in the Kansas Legislature are asking the attorney general to review a decision by Gov. Laura Kelly's administration to collect sales tax from out-of-state retailers on internet transactions.

Senate President Susan Wagle and House Speaker Ron Ryckman Jr. sent separate letters Thursday asking Attorney General Derek Schmidt if the Department of Revenue's directive on sales tax collections is constitutional.
