State health regulators on Friday responded to Republican state Sen. Mark Steffen's letter instructing physicians how they should treat COVID-19, saying the lawmaker has stirred confusion and provided false information to physicians.
In a response issued Friday, the president and the acting executive director of the Board of Healing Arts said Steffen's letter "has caused some confusion and concern amongst those in the Kansas medical professional community regarding prescribing FDA approved drugs off label."
They called Steffen's correspondence "unprecedented" in a SSJ
