Good morning everyone:

A little light on the copy last week, but that's what happens when you spend 27 hours in a courtroom over three days following the drama playing out over the new congressional maps drawn by the Legislature. Any idea of rest after the harried events of a week earlier in Topeka was a ridiculous notion, since you have to spend 10 hours in a courtroom followed by two hours or so of writing. In short, it ends up being an 8 to 8 kind of day.

The trial, however, did give us the opportunity to have . . .
