Longtime Capitol Hill staffer Chad Tenpenny is stepping down as general counsel to U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall after serving 24 years as an aide to three U.S. senators from Kansas.
Tenpenny is moving to the private sector in May after being the only person to serve on the staffs of Sens. Bob Dole, Pat Roberts and Marshall.
Tenpenny plans to build a law practice that focuses on federal, state and local government affairs, general counsel services and political consulting.
