The Kansas Sierra Club has picked its longtime lobbyist as its inaugural state director.
The environmental group on Tuesday named Zack Pistora as its first state director, a move that the group described as a significant decision in its 50-year history.
For 13 years, Pistora has served as the Kansas Sierra Club’s state lobbyist, engaging state officials, empowering citizen lobbyists and advocating for priorities focused on sustainability and environmental justice.
