Anti child porn law tested at SCOTUS; What does it mean for Kansas?

Kansas has joined the defense of a Texas law similar to one passed in Kansas that  makes it tougher for children to view pornography online with a new age-verification requirement.

Attorney General Kris Kobach has joined a brief with 21 others states in arguing that they have a compelling interest and broad powers in protecting children’s welfare.

They say their case is strengthened by the pervasiveness of pornography in today's world.

They say the internet and cellphones make obscene material more accessible . . .
