Gov. Laura Kelly's nominee to the Kansas Court of Appeals easily won unanimous bipartisan support from the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday afternoon.
The committee recommended Lawrence attorney Sarah Warner to replace Patrick McAnany on the Appeals Court after a 90-minute hearing in which senators quizzed her about the law, including the recent Kansas Supreme Court decision that found the state constitution protects abortion rights.
