Quite a week for news given that it was only a four-day work week. It started with President Trump calling for a boycott of jet manufacturer Bombardier, which set off a fierce backlash in Kansas where even Republican lawmakers had heartburn over the implications for a company that employs about 1,400 in Wichita. That was followed up, of course, by a New York Times story that shook up the U.S. Senate race when it revealed that Republican incumbent Roger Marshall has sued 700 of his patients — including 81 who were arrested — for bad debt . . .
