The general counsel for the state ethics commission is leaving the agency for another job.
It was announced Wednesday that Candice Wilson's last day at the Kansas Public Disclosure Commission will be Friday.
She will be going to the Kansas Supreme Court as a research attorney. She previously worked as a research attorney for Judge Gordon Atcheson on the Kansas Court of Appeals.
Wilson started at the agency on April 13 after a shakeup at the commission in 2025 saw two executive directors and its top lawyer leave. The position is now posted on the state's website.
