The Kansas Senate on Tuesday overrode Gov. Laura Kelly's veto of a bill banning transgender people from using restrooms and locker rooms in government buildings that don’t correspond with their biological sex.
The Senate voted 31-9 to override a veto of the bill, which also requires the sex designation on driver’s licenses and birth certificates to reflect someone’s biological sex at birth. The bill now . . .
