She also worked as senior director of legislative affairs for the lobbying firm Strategic Communications of Kansas. Most recently, she worked as government affairs director for the Kansas Cooperative Council.

Bobbi Mariani

Mariani has more than 35 years of experience in human resources, management, administration and fiscal analysis.

Most recently, she worked for the Legislative Research Department where she assisted with day-to-day management of fiscal staff and reconciliation and preparation of statewide data reports.

Lee Modesitt

Modesitt has spent the past five years working for former Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins, including as her district representative, communications director and most recently as district director.

Letch has more than two decades of experience as an administrator including serving as the executive assistant to the director for the Legislative Research Department for the past 14 years.

Kathy Letch

“I am thrilled with the diverse team I have been able to assemble,” Vicki Schmidt said in a statement.
