Kansas Insurance Commissioner-elect Vicki Schmidt on Monday introduced the senior staffers who will join her office after she's sworn in next week.
Schmidt named Mandy Roe as chief of staff, Bobbi Mariani as director of administrative operations and human resources, and Lee Modesitt as director of government affairs. Kathy Letch will serve as Schmidt's executive assistant.
Roe has spent 15 years working in and around state government in various roles, including as legislative director for then-Senate Majority Leader Derek Schmidt.
