President Donald Trump on Thursday nominated Olathe attorney Ryan Kriegshauser as the new U.S. attorney for Kansas.
Trump is sending Kriegshauser's name to the U.S. Senate for confirmation to replace Kate Brubacher of Fairway, who was appointed to the position by former President Joe Biden.
Over the years, Kriegshauser waged battle with Gov. Laura Kelly's administration over limiting religious gatherings in churches to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and represented a Geary County math teacher over a school district's pronoun policy.
He also represented clients before the state ethics . . .
