With the U.S. Senate race nearing an end, a class-action lawsuit has been filed against Republican incumbent Roger Marshall alleging that he charged excessive interest for unpaid medical bills as an obstetrician.
The lawsuit was brought by Meischa Zimmerman, representing a class of Marshall's patients, many described in the lawsuit as economically disadvantaged pregnant women and mothers who lived in Barton County where poverty levels are above leverage.
