Four plans for redrawing the state's congressional districts were introduced in a House committee Tuesday morning with different approaches to reshaping the district now represented by Democrat Sharice Davids.
One Republican proposal would move Wyandotte County from Davids' 3rd District into the sprawling 1st District that extends to the Colorado state line, while another splits Wyandotte County between the 2nd and 3rd Districts.
The House redistricting committee will consider those maps along with two other plans that would keep Wyandotte County whole during hearings planned for Thursday and Friday. The committee could vote out a plan by Friday.
