The MainStream Coalition’s political action committee issued its endorsements on Friday.
It threw its support behind Democrat Laura Kelly for governor, Democrat Sharice Davids for the 3rd District Congressional seat and Democrat Paul Davis in the 2nd District congressional race.
The PAC also is backing Democrat Brian McClendon for secretary of state, Democrat Marci Francisco for treasurer and Republican Vicki Schmidt for insurance commissioner. It did not endorse in the Kansas attorney general’s race.
The endorsements were decided by a 15-member, non-partisan committee that reviewed candidate surveys, voting records and interviews with candidates when necessary.
