KNEA announces interim executive director

The Kansas National Education Association on Friday announced that it named a former leader from the NEA's Missouri chapter as its new interim executive director, replacing Kevin Riemann who abruptly left at the end of August.

With more than 47 years in public education, Peggy Cochran was the first woman to serve as executive director of the Missouri NEA, a position she held for 19 years.

She also worked as the interim executive director of the Louisiana Association of Educators for the 2019 . . .
