For the second straight month, Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly's popularity improved, climbing above the 50% mark for the first time.
Morning Consult released its approval ratings for the nation’s governors Thursday and Kelly had climbed to 52% at the end of the third quarter, compared to 49% in the second quarter.
About 23% disapproved of Kelly while 25% said they didn't know. Overall, Kelly's net approval rating was at 29 percentage points.
