Kelly administration seeks to end temporary injunction on gender markers

Gov. Laura Kelly's administration is seeking to dissolve a temporary injunction that blocks the state from allowing transgender Kansans from changing their gender markers on their driver's licenses.

The Department of Revenue filed a brief saying that the new  "women's bill of rights" establishing an individual’s sex as their biological sex at birth does not control state laws regulating driver's licenses.

The brief was filed the same day that Shawnee County District Judge . . .
