Kansas Democratic Party Chair Vicki Hiatt has decided not to seek another term leading the party, leaving it to former Treasurer Lynn Rogers and political newcomer Jeanna Repass to run for party chair.
In an email to Democrats on Sunday night after the Chiefs game, Hiatt explained why she initially indicated she would run for another term but decided to drop out of the race for after Repass signaled she would run for the position.
