Gov. Laura Kelly on Monday announced the hiring of a new communications director with experience in Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Kansas.
Kelly has hired Olivia Taylor-Puckett, who has been working as a senior communications adviser for the Arizona Democratic Party.
Previously, Taylor-Puckett worked as the communications director for former Democratic state Rep. Susan Wild of Pennsylvania.
Before joining the congressional staff, Taylor-Puckett was the communications director for the Democratic joint legislative campaign committees in New Jersey.
In Kansas, Taylor-Puckett managed Kali Barnett's unsuccessful campaign for the 1st Congressional District in 2020.
