Gov. Laura Kelly has been meeting with Senate Majority Leader Jim Denning in hopes of crafting a consensus Medicaid expansion plan ahead of the legislative session.
"We've been having conversations around the plans and where, if any place, there is room for negotiation and consensus," Kelly said in an interview with the Sunflower State Journal.
Kelly called the meetings "productive" but was reluctant to discuss too many details of the meetings and where she and the senator agree on Medicaid expansion.
