Democrat Sharice Davids is leading.

So is Democrat Paul Davis.

And so are Republicans Roger Marshall and Ron Estes.

A statewide e-poll poll – a combination automated land line and online survey -by Emerson College looked at the Kansas congressional races although with very small sample sizes in each of the four districts. Emerson is a liberal arts college in Boston.

The margins of error are pretty big so take the results for what they’re worth given the sample sizes are so small. Consider:

  • In the 1st Congressional District, Marshall led Democrat Alan LaPolice 44 percent to 17 percent with 35 percent undecided. Margin of error was 6.8 percent. Sample size was 193 voters.
  • In the 2nd Congressional District, Davis led Republican Steve Watkins 35 percent to 31 percent with 28 percent undecided. Margin of error was 6.4 percent. Sample size was 243 voters.
  • In the 3rd Congressional District, Davids led Republican incumbent Kevin Yoder 47 percent to 41 percent with 10 percent undecided. Margin of error was 6.4 percent. Sample size was 246 voters.
  • In the 4th District, Estes led Democratic challenger James Thompson 50 percent to 26 percent with 20 percent undecided. Three percent said someone else. Margin of error was 6.4 percent. Sample size was 256 voters.

Pollsters also surveyed voters about abolishing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency as well as education funding.

On education: Fifty-six percent of those polled said current funding is not enough, 18 percent said it was just right and 16 percent said there was too much funding.

On ICE: Forty-eight percent opposed abolishing ICE compared to 18 percentĀ  who favored its elimination. Thirty five percent were undecided.
