President Donald Trump on Wednesday night nominated three lawyers to the federal bench in Kansas, including Kansas Bureau of Investigation Director Tony Mattivi and the state's top appellate lawyer and former judge Anthony Powell.
Trump also nominated Great Bend lawyer Jeffrey Kuhlman to the bench.
The Sunflower State Journal reported that all three were among the potential candidates considered for the job.
