With state Rep. Fred Patton announcing that he will resign next month, the questions have already turned to who will replace the outgoing Topeka lawmaker.
Kim Borchers, the Kansas Republican Party national committeewoman, started hinting at an "upcoming announcement" on Facebook late Monday afternoon.
"I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have reached out with inquiries regarding my potential candidacy for the Kansas House 50th District," Borchers posted.
