Former Vice President Joe Biden won the Kansas Democratic primary with about 77% of the vote in an all-mail election intended to keep voters safe from the spread of the coronavirus.
U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders finished with 23% of the vote, although Biden had sown up the Democratic nomination weeks before Kansas held its primary. Four years ago, Sanders won the Kansas caucuses over Hillary Clinton.
Other candidates on the ballot were U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who left the presidential race after the Democratic Party printed its ballots . . .
