With the state immersed in the coronavirus pandemic, the state Board of Healing Arts named a new executive director with scant public attention.
The board named Tucker Poling of Prairie Village as its new executive director, replacing Kathleen Selzler Lippert who resigned last October.
He was named March 19. He must be confirmed by the state Senate although when that might occur is still unclear.
He could have a hearing before the Senate Confirmation Oversight Committee sometime during the interim with the full Senate possibly to vote on it . . .
