A new audit out Thursday pinpointed flaws in information technology security controls despite recent efforts to strengthen state computer security.
The legislative audit found that nine out of 15 governmental agencies - 12 state and three local school districts - did not substantively comply with information technology standards and best practices in at least two of three areas audited.
