The Kansas Legislature on Wednesday completed its override of Gov. Laura Kelly’s veto of a bill banning transgender people from using restrooms and locker rooms in government buildings that don’t correspond with their biological sex.
The House voted 87-37 to override a veto of the bill, which also requires the sex designation on driver’s licenses . . .
