Republican Congressman Kevin Yoder called Democratic challenger Sharice Davids a "ghost of a candidate" when she didn't appear at a forum sponsored by the Johnson County Bar Association on Wednesday.
Saying that Davids thinks she's got the election "in the bag," Yoder suggested his Democratic challenger is avoiding the public by not engaging in public debates and not mingling more with voters.
It was the third debate Davids turned down. A couple weeks ago, she didn't participate in a forum sponsored by the Kansas City, Kan., Chamber of Commerce. The Johnson County Public Policy Council, a coalition . . .
