The state's transportation workers union has handed out its endorsements, which include a mix of Republican and Democratic candidates.
The International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers - known as SMART - endorsed in a handful of state Senate primary campaigns as well as the 2nd District Congressional race.
“We need tough, dedicated leaders in the office who will fight for Kansas working men, women, and their families," said Ty Dragoo, the union's state legislative director.
