Thomas recounts softball injury, expresses gratitude for support

State Rep. Adam Thomas of Olathe was pitching when he was hit by a line drive in a softball game Monday night that left him with serious injuries to his eye and cheek bone.

In a Facebook post late Wednesday, Thomas recounted what happened when he was seriously injured during the softball game.

Thomas said he took a line drive right off the right side of his face, causing multiple fractures around his eye socket and cheek bones.
