Suspicious packages sent to the attorney general's office and the secretary of state's office forced the evacuation of Memorial Hall on Monday.
Kansas was one of six states where suspicious packages were sent to election officials, ABC News was reporting late Monday.
The network reported that packages with white powder were sent to secretaries of state and state election offices in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Tennessee, Wyoming and Oklahoma.
The FBI and U.S. Postal Service were investigating, the network reported.
