Good morning everyone:
The special session aside, last week marked the summer solstice, which also was the 14th anniversary of our first date with Mrs. SSJ. The brew pub where we first met is now gone, unfortunately, but not the memory of her sharing her heart and selflessness. It's an anniversary that is almost unforgivable to miss given that comes on the first day of summer. Most of the news was concentrated at the start of the week with the Legislature passing major bills that cut taxes and provide incentives to lure the Chiefs and Royals into Kansas. Here . . .
