The Kansas Senate on Thursday unanimously confirmed Gov. Laura Kelly's nominee to the Kansas Court of Appeals, the seventh woman that the governor has appointed to the court.
The Senate voted 40-0 to confirm District Judge Lori Bolton Fleming to the 14-member court after receiving warm reviews during a confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee earlier this week.
