The Kansas Senate early Saturday morning approved new limits on advanced ballot drop boxes, a measure that would reduce the number of receptacles by nearly 40% across the state.
The Senate voted 21-17 to approve a bill that would limit one drop box to every 30,000 voters, which would effectively eliminate 80 out of 191 boxes statewide.
